I have the older (free) version of phpdirectory, I added a nice template (thanks Apoostle) but I want one of the main links at the top of all the pages changed; is it possible?
Thanks, RonMo

Here is a sample page from my directory:
ezdrivingdirections.com/directory/animals/
I would like this link: (under the search bar)
driving directions - mapquest - yahoo maps
to link to my homepage, not the homepage of the directory.
Thanks, RonMo

You can just put the exact path to your homepage there, ezdrivingdirections.com where you currently see /directory

I changed my top_bar.tpl file to a code that bobby sent me, and now my directory is screwed up. I resored to original file, but it's still screwed up. Can someone please help?
ezdrivingdirections.com/directory/ take a look

I just want to let you know that post #8 'had your solution', and for free!
You chose to not want to modify anything and be 'picky' about help that was given to solve what you wanted. Now look at where you stand.
Someone has screwed up your directory, and hopefully someone else will help you. If you want my help this turn around, it won't be free. Sorry.

Rob, I did what post #8 said to do. That is what screwed up my directory. I don't mind paying for my mistakes, can anyone help me?
-RonMo
no. you did:
and don't get me wrong, i am not trying to be mean. i can only do so much to help before people want to get picky for customizations.

He sent me a PM with instructions, how would you know that I didn't do it?

I'm willing to make a donation if someone can help me fix my problem.
Thanks, RonMo
if you want help, you can PM me. And again, I am not being mean, it's just that 90% of these guys who think they can code, well, can't!
Rob
You are fixed.
Please, for future reference always:
1. back up any files you plan to modify, first!
2. do not let just 'anyone' offer code. make sure it's someone who knows what they are doing, otherwise you're going to wind up with another mess again.
Rob ;)
Let me know when you get word back from your host.
(and if you messed with the database, just tell me up front, because i'm gonna check last modified time)

I called my host, and they must have fixed it.. Thanks a million. What is the link to your site you were talking about?
-RonMo
Content visible to registered users only.
Ok that's great. Contact me on Yahoo messenger if you can. I have to ask you something about your host. I saw some really freaky stuff going on while viewing the ftp, and honestly, i'd be concerned with what I saw.
Rob
yahoo name is in my sig
(i need a smoke, your host really freaked me the hellout for a few there)
Pheeeeew... the demons have been exorsized.
After the intial problem was fixed long long ago, Ron's host really screwed him over, but all is well now.
and remember, donations not always necessary, but never rejected ;)
/me passes out!
