How to simplify adding sites?

Is there a way to simplify adding sites to my directory as I'm browsing the web?

I'm sure I remember seeing a plugin for Firefox at some point that let you click a button on the toolbar when viewing a site that you wanted to add, and it then pulled the meta details and such like direct into my directory. But can't seem to find anything like that around at the mo.

Any suggestions on how to make it easy?
