Hosting Companies That support Pagerank Queries

An introduction ...

PHP Link Directory is a fantastic script, but to take advantage of its best
features - you need a hosting company that allows pagerank queries. I
created this thread - so others can recommend hosting plans that DO
allow pagerank queries through PHPLD.

I would ask that you're 100% sure, before posting hosting company URLs.
No affiliate links please. Perhaps, if we all work together - we can identify
the best hosting company to host the PHP Link Directory script ...

I will start the list with my own recommendation (but I should note that
their customer service is terrible, and I am personally bailing out now!)
Please feel free to post URLs, and I shall keep this message up to date.
Perhaps we can sticky this thread David, as it will be useful for others.

Known hosting companies that *currently*
support remote Pagerank queries via PHPLD

[Allows PR queries via PHPLD. Great prices. Poor service. Poor uptime]

There is good news in the horizon for people interested in pagerank. If you happen to be on a server that won't allow automatic pagerank verification, the latest Beta of Version 3.04 has the capability of editing the pagerank from the control panel.

I realize that this is not the total solution, but David included this in the regional script, and it is a real time saver over any other way to manually edit the pagerank. Look for it soon. There are currently 3 items that aren't quite right, but Boby promised to fix all of those issues.

For those of you who need a server that WILL allow pagerank, I am also a web host. My server has this capability, and I would be happy to host your site. This is a paid hosting plan. If interested, you can PM me. The sites have their own control panel, mysql and phpmyadmin.

An alternative to the manual PR edit, eighter direct in DB or via 3.0.4+ is we could write a littel script that you install on a different server, a very cheap probably it will work on free website hoster that support PHP. If your current MySQL server supports connections from outside the PR updater script can connect from outside, query the pageranks and write to your DB automatically.

What do you think?

For a small donation I could write it ;)
