Hello,

I am aware there is a setting in the admin panel to adjust the number of columns displayed on all of the "child" pages, but I was wondering how I might be able to adjust the number of columns on the main "Directory Home" page? I ask because I have three main categories and would like them to be displayed evenly throughout the page, instead of in a list on the left.

Thank you for any assistance!

I remember when we had onyl 3 categories we could not get it work either. no matter if I put 1 or 2 or 3 in Categories columns on admin site it were always 1 or 2 columns at most so I was "stuck" with 2 categories in first column and 1 category in second column. Now we have 5 categories and I just tried it and it seems to work - there are 3 columns displayed correctly.

Thanks for the response, Mike! Unfortunately, not even changing the number of columns in the admin panel had any effect on the main page. I'm thinking that there MUST be a place in a file somewhere where you can adjust this, so I'm kind of hoping a developer or a user who has hacked this before will chime in!

What version do you have?

How many categories are listed?

Thanks

I played around on the demo here on this site, and had no problem changing the number of columns. What is your url?

The URL is {no longer working}

Thank you!

I don't see any <td> tags between columns. What happens after you click "save" in admin?

This page:
/admin/conf_settings.php?c=2&r=1
What happens after you change Category Columns to 3 and click Save?

After changing the column setting to 3, category pages like this one: {url no longer working} are updated, but the main page still isn't.
