Import Work from Previous Version of Directory Script

Hello there.

I am looking to start a directory using the free version of PHP Link Directory, and if things work out eventually upgrade to the paid version of PHPLD. Is it possible to do this? In other words, could I import all of the work from the free version into the paid version? Maybe I could do a database import. Or would I need to start fresh?

Yes, no problem. We publish instructions with v3 on how to upgrade. It usually take an hour or two.

as David said yes it can be done and isn't that difficult...baring in mind however the difficult part comes when you have modified your directory...you will have to either find a new template or update your current template to work with v3 as well as reinstall any mods

I would suggest just jumping all in and starting out with 3.4
v2 while it is free is very basic and really does not justify what all v3 does/has to offer let alone v3.4 which has jumped leaps and bounds over its previous releases...
