spammers

i just come in from footy and seen there's 25 new posts, all spam... got me thinking, don't ya think with all the pain, problems and fraud that spammers cause that governing bodies should have some sort of application in place for when people want to set up websites. it would cut alot of the crap out, i know all of it, but alot.

just a thought, what do ya reckon? it needs to be sorted, it's such a time consuming problem...

sure, but it's just ballache that ya dont need, and i was generalising too, there's alot of small companies and things that dont have ban facilities and get spammed to high heaven... it's hardwork

For what its worth
I always think of the internet and its content as a reflection of society as a whole
and it is a sad fact that a lot of it is down the toilet.

Legislation and regulation would restrict the internet and its development.
I don't think it would decrease/stop any of the problems caused by these people, in fact it may even increase their efforts if they thought they were beating an authority.
