how do we upgrade from 3.0.3 to 3.0.4 ?

i tried uploading and overwriting the files, and that didn't work out to well :(

and I looked at the config. file and I don't see where I add my DB info :|

Your directory doesn't look very heavily modded (if its the one in your sig) What I did and perhaps what you can try is install a clean version of 304, assigning it the same database as your 303 directory (don't worry it wont overwrite your cats or links). It should install fine. Then re-mod again.

Phpld only writes the relevant details to the config file after install.

backup your database,overwrite all files and install again.

all the database will be there nothing will be lost.

this is what I tried last night. and went to mysite.com/install/ and nothing :(

try moving all phplinkdirectory files to yoursite.com/links/phplinkdirectory, then run the install yoursite.com/links/install ... it will work

then move all the files back to the root yoursite.com

I usually have the same problem. when installing phpld at yoursite.com/phplinkdirectory It will say it's intalled but it's really not.
