general issues and questions

Hi guys,

I checked out Rc4 and was very impressed by what i saw once I got it up and running.

I know these questions are incredible stupid....but...

I initially tried to run the install after renaming the phpLinkDirectory-2.0.0rc4 directory "directory" the install failed , I then installed it ina directory as it came and the install worked fine, However the path to the directory is now www.abc.com/directory/phpLinkDirectory-2.0.0rc4

What is the best way to install the script so that i get a decent path?

And my second stupid question is .....

Once the directory is built Is there an easy way to get started with the catagories and links by importing a databse of some sort ? Or will i need to work hard for a change?

That's very odd. Can you give more details as to how it failed?

The best way to install it is to upload the files to the directory you want it installed in.

Right now we don't support importing categories. This is something we're thinking about though.
