Send Email and Add Link Mod

This mod will allow you to send an email and add a link to the links table at the same time. In the email you can include some additional variables. Among them, a link back to a new screen on your directory that allows them to key in a reciprocal link for your site.

Hi YKTAN,

Very Nice MOD...works nicely too... :). Just one question, I am getting the following error message in the email_message_edit page in Admin

"Warning: Smarty error: validate: validator id 'v_VALIDATE_EMAIL_TYPE' is not registered. in e:\html\domains\mydomain.com\wwwroot\directory\lib s\smarty\Smarty.class.php on line 1088".

Any Ideas what might be causing this. I have checked and re-checked the MOD installation and I dont seem to have forgotten anything :cry: .

Hi ! YKTAN not a problem :). If I may request as you seem very well versed with the emailer function....can you check on the problem with the Payment Notification Email function. The Notification to Admin works fine, but it does not send out a notification to the client/Link Buyer after completing the payment process. I have posted a query at {url not currently in service}.

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Hi ksbhati, I'm very sorry but I am really tied up at the moment. I will have a look at the email notification problem once I've finished the Mod that I'm working on in a couple of days' time.

I have the same problem but even payment notification never come if i put in web and no one can properly signup the site.

Do not bump old threads. Use the search feature. Ask your host if user nobody can send mail 99% of the time that is the problem.

ontop of not bumping old threads (esp those that are 2 years old), try to at least post your question in a thread that is talking about your question! this thread is about a mod....if you are using this mod, then you need to contact the mod creator....

if you are having issues with the default script then please use the search function and if you can not find your answer, feel free to create an appropriately named thread in an appropriate forum.
