I uploaded the entire folder to the home root. ON the install notes, it said to change my permissions to 777. Which I did but I don't have any of these in my temp folder

temp/adodb
temp/cache
temp/templates

all i had is an .htaccess file

So i tried going to mydomain.com/phpld since thats where I uploaded my directory. And it saids
Content visible to registered users only.

Problem is I don't have that file at all.. sorry im really new to this.

A few more questions
When I get to the installer or that step, does it allow me to install it onto the homepage instead of a subpage or do I have to upload the files manually out of the folder onto the home root?

phpLD2
mysql

Thanks.

hello,

just open your /temp folder and create the 3 folders in it:

adodb
cache
emplates
Then set to 777

The directory will be installed in the folder where you`ve uploaded it

Ok Ill try that. I thought I was only suppose to create folders and thought those were files that were missing.

Edit:// it installed sucessfully. one thing, I will have to reinstall it because I want it to be the homepage. but if i manually drag all the files onto the home root thing, i already have an .htaccess file there, do i overwrite it with the directory .htaccess file, and just to make sure, or do I just change the name?

I think you have to overwrite it with the directory ht.access

Ok are you sure?
I don't want more errors. Ill try that.

Ok it works :D
Thanks, but I hope the overwriting doesn't cause any errors.
