Meant to put directory in root

I FTP'd the files into a folder and after installation I find my directory is in that subdirectory instead of the root.

Is there any easy edit to change this or should I do a reinstall?

If you somehow added a site URL in admin panel, make sure you change it.
From http://www.your-domain.com/directory/ to http://www.your-domain.com/
