Hey guys,

I love this software by the way and will be buying the 3.04 in a few days, but my main concern is that when I click on a category, and I try to click "Home" or the logo, it is the same url as the one I am in.

I have to click the link below the navigation to get back home. Have a look, http://www.link2geeks.net

Click a category and then click either the logo or Home on the navigation, and you'll see what I mean, not sure if it's a sql issue, or script mess up when I moved the script from the /phpLD directory to the / root directory.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Isn't that a problem of your custom template?
Have you tried the same with the default template that comes with phpLD? You should ask the template coder or find the problem in eighter templates/header.tpl or templates/top_bar.tpl (I'm not sure how your template is structured)

Eh, not exactly sure where to find this error at, I am a php coder, but I don't think it's in the header or top_bar of the tpl extention.

I'm not sure where to go from here, but I might have to shut this down until it's fixed.

Anyones help is greatly appreciated.

top_bar.tpl

Thanks for the help Boby :)

Your home button and logo links currently use Content visible to registered users only.
I would try using Content visible to registered users only.

You guys rock, thanks Boby and Optimit, I really appreciate your help!

One last question though, I know how to add the google ad_client ID, in the google-home and sub.tpl, but how do I get it to display the actual ad on the front page?

Thanks again!

Hey guys,

I just bought the 3.04 version today and can't get the header image to just go directly to the index.php without trailing the directory that a person came from when they click on the logo.

Also, my Latest Entries and Top Hits page is not there, I have index.php?p=d for Latest Entries and =h for Top Hits. I am trying to get them to actually show the page that is there, but it's just refreshing the main page.

Any help is greatly appreciated!!

SOunds like you are using a template not designed for version 3.04. Can you give us a link? FYI, the version 3.04 URLs for latest links and top hits have changed. The ones you posted are the old URLs

Interesting, the link to my site is http://www.link2geeks.net, also what are the new ones for the 3.04 on the Latest Links and Top Hits trail?

Thanks for the really fast reply Bro!

EDIT: Theme URL is found on the forum to download and view: http://www.phplinkdirectory.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2907

Latest Links
Content visible to registered users only.

Top Hits
Content visible to registered users only.

There will be other issues, if that template was made for version before 3.04. I did not look, but you might also try your search feature and pagination.

Thanks for the reply Optmit, but could you give a brief detail on the feature and pagination?

P.S the template is running VERY smooth on the 3.04, but apparently something isn't coded correctly for the latest and top hits to view, however it does take you to a page but nothing is shown but the header and footer.

Thank you again for your help!

Content visible to registered users only.

No, I cant give you any ideas on fixing the pagination. I would not even know where to begin. The easy answer is. Don't try to use old templates on new versions. They are just simply not coded the same. There are a couple here in the forums that have managed to upgrade some of the older templates to work. You might do a quick search and see what you come up with. I think they were working with the Peppermint template.
