Template Version Requirements for Script Version

I have searched and did not see this question answered anywhere! My question and I know it may be dumb but I need to know if your can use say phpld 4.0 theme on an site using a 3.4 version of the script?

Or say I want to use a 3.2 theme on a 3.4 version of the script is this possible or do the themes have to match the version of script you are using?

Agian I know this is a dumb question but I hope someone can answer it for me!

Pretty much you need to upgrade the theme files for it to work.

Content visible to registered users only.Thanks thats what I thought....was wishing I was wrong because some of the themes I really like I can't find for my version and I thought maybe there was a way to fix a theme to work with a newer version of the script!

If you want something upgraded to 4.0 we still have a standing offer open to upgrade older templates, but it must be to 4.0 (not lower).
