Hi,

No the 4.0 adoption rate with the resulting upgrade and install work has left me swamped

I plan to get it updated to 4.0 base over the Christmas holdidays

I plan on
A. adding a lot of changes to the existing script
OR
B. moving it over to the 4.1 base. I just dont have the time to work on both 4.1 and the
article script at the same time.

Yes, we were almost going to release the new one today. Could still happen. Just waiting on one small detail to be completed.

Now what about users who already purchased the article script, will we get the chance to update to the new one? or do we have to purchase it again as l dont see it in my download section David

I will find out for sure

I would tend to go with what version purchased and when however while you could upgrade the database "somewhat" templates in use will not what

I don't know that at this stage we have tested the upgrade from an older version. It "might" work. We are happy to let existing users have access to the download. We could do the upgrade for you, but it would be the normal charge of $30. Once we get a little further along, hopefully we can speak with more surety about the upgrade process. This is more of a "new script" versus an upgrade of the previous article script, but we wanted previous purchasers to at least be able to download this one, so we can make sure you at least can do that at this point.

What is also kind of nice is that some of what you will see in this new version will also be a part of the next phpLD. We also have more milestones on this new Article script, and you will see another release of it in the future.

Hello David and James,

That would be great as I would be willing to do a clean install for the new one over the one l am using now just for the new features, I can always import my articles that are submitted so thats not an issue...

I recently purchased the Article Directory Script UB version but if l may have a download link to the new version that would be just fine.
