Is there a way already to remove the ID check in the reciprocial link. That is really annoying :(

Thank you in advance

Yea, we'll find a way this weekend.
I have my reservations too.

Hi. Are there any news on this?

Hi phillicon,
I was hoping we'd get some more donations over the weekend. I may just have to put my own money into this one. Feel free to keep asking until this is solved.
Thanks,
David

Does a link with the ID in it still pass PR to the directory home page? If so, why would you want to remove the ID?

The ID is an "attribute". Other examples of attribues would be target="_blank" or (font) color="red". It does not have a relationship to the url or the passing of pagerank.

I should be able to take care of this for you tomorrow sometime if you're interested.

Feel free to IM me with one of the messengers below.

Thank you for your time.

David, am I reading this right? Does this mean the id attributes are removed from the anchor tags in the newest release? If so, this is very good news. One step closer to xhtml validation!

Please tell me it's so! If it is I'll upgrade immediately . . .

Yes, they are removed by selecting to do so in the admin panel.

Yeah, it's one of the things I had on my list to do "kickass".

I'm glad you like it

Alright, I understand that you guys want to exclude the ID tag due to XHTML validation, but how are you going to be able to count hits from listed sites by then? :(

Well, that is the magic of PHP Lik Directory. :)
You can customize it to fit your needs.

David, you're saying the script actually does count in hits from rec links still without ID attributes? If so, why did you use ID attributes in the first place för rec links?
