Here these are the problems:
Requirements:
GD Support (for visual confirmations) - Visual confirmation functionality will not be available
MSSQL Server Support - not available
PostgreSQL Support - not available!
how do I fix these things, I am not a coder so this is quite hard for me!

The last two are not a problem, as we only need one database (mysql).
The gd support is used for visual confirmation on the link submit page, so you can proceed with install, just won't have visual confirmation, because it is not installed on your server.

The little code you have to enter at the bottom of the submit page

You will need to create a database using the control panel for your hosting account. You must do this first before proceeding. For host you can just put localhost there, but for the database name, database user and password, you have to create that when you create the database.

In the /templates folder, you will need to edit header.tpl
There are a number of threads here about this.

Hi KlaasKoopman,
The page you gave for example {url not in service} can be done just by editing templates/header.tpl.
As for your website, you can edit the relevant templates like templates/index.tpl and templates/submit.tpl to include the top banner and left hand menu. In the main page, do you see the following DIV in your source?
Content visible to registered users only. This part is where the tpl code should be residing in.
If you are not familiar with Smarty templates, you might need to hire someone to do it for you.

York Kie

If you analyse the code, everything that I copied from your original html file (brown color) is put in a {literal}{/literal} tag. In the middle is the original code for main.tpl (green color).
Of course, your main page's link that directs to the PHP Link Directory has to be something like {url not in service}

Hi KlaasKoopman,
Thanks for being willing to donate to PHP Link Directory. I can of course help you with the templates. What I need:
(1) For you to complete the main page first. Currently, the hyperlinks on the left are not liking to anywhere (<A HREF="#"). If I do the templates for you, you will need to edit the templates again when you want to change the hyper links. It will be better when everything is complete before I do it for you.
(2) I need access to your website. If you have cpanel that has file manager tools, can you provide me the access details?
Regards,
YK
