RSS Link Wheel with Widgets?

This is just an idea. Wanted to see what you think...

Suppose you have several directories. You make a widget that shows the latest articles or links. Then you do something like this:
Latest articles from directory A is shown as a widget on directory B
Latest articles from directory B is shown as a widget on directory C
Latest articles from directory C is shown as a widget on directory D
Latest articles from directory D is shown as a widget on directory A

So it is sort of like an RSS Link Wheel. Then potentially you could partner up with others you trust. Everytime they write an article they get a link from your widget, and everytime you write an article you get a link from their widget.

What do you think? Would people do this?

I kinda started this with my directories i got a RSS widget in phpLD Links from Article and Link Directory and planning on adding them to my other directories from the other directories but AnLD is 3.4 so i will need to work on a RSS for that from one of my other directories but yes i would use something like this as this was my thoughts when i added the RSS on phpLD Links from AnLD.

I push a RSS feed from my one and only directory to a couple of theme related blogs. It certainly does seem to stir search engines up and deliver results.
