I'm hoping to get any suggestions or feedback on http://artbrief.com This is an art niche directory, and I hope that what sets this site apart from most of it's kind is that it offers a free portfolio page with image uploads, etc.

I'd be most interested in hearing what you think about:

1) Usability - is it easy enough to navigate, anything that bugs you about the layout or moving around in the site?

2) I've created a separate submission form for the portfolios (you'd have to log in to see it). I've added features like a contact form, image uploads, a field for resumes, etc. If you wanted to list a portfolio, what features would you want to see?

Any and all comments or suggestions are welcome. Thanks much...

Joe

For some reason I expected more of a rich template when I went to load it.

more rich ...

like a deep maroon, even a parchment colour.. not necessarily a bright colour but rich..

walnut, cherry even. The term portfolio always brings to mind to me a gallery, symphony, play or even museum atmosphere.

rich and elegant ;)

Probably not making much sense.

like your avatar even... while still dark there is a richness to the tones of it
