Pre-Sales Questions - Recip Link Checking/Email/Bulk Add

I have a few questions about the recip link features (either free or pro versions okay):

1. Can you import a csv flatfile of links? If so, will the system then fire out emails to the new sites and request recip links?

2. When a recip link check is run, will it automatically fire out emails to those sites where the recip link is not found? The idea is to encourage remote sites to keep the recip link in place, and to do this function in a bulk manner.

3. Can the recip link checker be run from admin like clicking a button, or is it run by cron? Would prefer an admin button.

4. Can you set up groups of links to run the recip link checking on, or do you have to check the whole bunch every time?

5. Can you designate a link as OKAY even if it doesn't have a recip link and have the recip link checker bypass this link? There are some links that are nice to have in the directory that you still might not be able to get a backlink from.

For me, it's all about recip links (except for a few sites). It would be great if there were ways to manage recip links in bulk, both importing and checking.

Hi, our reciprocal link section is not that advanced yet. What we will be doing in the next version is creating a tool (like vBulletin uses) to allow us to run this on thousands of links at a time (page reload every 1000 or so). This will set the stage for doing some of the things your are asking.

is there no way to do this with cron? what would the correct cron entry look like to check backlinks automaticly every hour?

I think we would need to do a little code modification to make it possible to run the url as a cron. I don't believe this has been done before. If you like, repost in the mod requests forum, and maybe someone will come up with a way to do that.
