2 questions.

1. For some reason i get a ton of hits from google bots but very few successfull ones. It will say 620 hits with only 22 succesfull hits on robots.txt. anyone know the cause of this and/or how to make it so that i get a 100% hit rate?

2. Does anyone know a way to insert a news feed into the main page of the directory? or integrate an rss feed from another site?

1. google bots hits each page of your site. say 1000 pages in one visit.
but he only needs your robots.txt once per visit :-D

It will add a feed to your homepage.

The rss you have now is for other people to be able to 'subscribe' to a section and it will let them see the latest links as they are added.

If you want to add rss to your site then you would need another tool for that job.
