Urgent Help needed

All of a sudden my newstopica admin page user/password is not working.
The only recent change i made was to change my password for the database newstopica is using.

Also, no news is being displayed on my main website.

What should i do now?

I did resolve this issue but i am not very sure about my approach. Please help.

I went through the installation process again and this time i used my updated password for database settings and completed the newstopica install.
I didnot loose the old data i already had in the system.

Is this right?

Is there any interface for me to update backend username/password details in the newstopica admin interface?
