Index.php sorting

Can I get the index.php results sorted by submitted date, like the latest_links.php addon ? I'd like to have it all sorted by date..

Any help would very much be appreciated..

Try to change the line #82 to:
Content visible to registered users only.
I'm not sure that it will help.
