Deleted my .htaccess file

Like a fool, i accidentally deleted .htaccess file in the root and now I can access the site but could not get in the links by clicking on it(getting this error)
Not Found
The requested URL /Pets/ was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

any idear to solve this?

I copied an .htaccess file from another site of mine but am still getting this error.

I finally got it up and working... search is my friend. What I end up doing was, since I don't have a modified .htaccess is I copied and paste one from an unzipped copy of the directory. Got it to work. Yay to me!
