View Full Version : Link submitter blocks my "Approve Links" list

A link submitter has used html in his description. This appears to have made his listing (in the Approve Links section of my admin panel) come up as a faulty listing in that only the title of his submission appears.

I therefore have no control over approving the site in the Action section (or seeing any of the submitted site details.

Unfortunately this entry is blocking the list on new submits and I can't work out how to delete it.

Suggestions welcome, thanks.

Hi there, and welcome to PHP Link Directories Forum!

Step 1:
If you have access to your cpanel, please do so and head to your MySQL area, then access your PHPMyAdmin, located at the bottom of the MySQL page.

Step 2:
Choose your Database which your directory is used in, then click PLD_LINKS then when the page loads in full, click the top Browse and it will load the next page.

Step 3:
Locate the name of the link and url, when you have found the link/url, click the red X on the left next to the pencil, it'll probably ask you to delete it, click yes.

This is a physical removal from your Database. I hope it helped!

Thanks Steve, for the welcome and for the fix!

Just had to go to the last page (106) of the directory listings to find the offending link.

Just another question:)

Is there an option to auto tick multiple directory submissions to save clicking each new entry?

Cheers, Rod

Hey Rod,

No problem on the support, that's what we do here :) About the multiple clicking, post a topic in the Mod Requests forum, and I guarantee you will get a reply very fast on thoughts and possibly a word from Boby or David the two main devs who will probably give a go ahead and create a script for it.

Other members might jump in and do it which is what's awesome about this community is that they pitch in to help with the improvements, so keep an eye out for new mods :)

Best of luck my friend!

Content visible to registered users only.

I think this is what you're looking for:

Admin>Directory>Validate Links

That option validates the whole directory's links. But what about one button for approving the links at admin>directory>approve?

Otherwise you have to click each one individually.
