Duplicate Entries Issue

My Directory is not tagging duplicate entries, and is basically allowing the same site being added, this has only happened once, but I would like to know if there is a way to keep this from happening?

I have set the Allow Multiple Sites to No and it's letting them submit duplicate sites.

If anyone has a way of setting this to catch them, that would be awesome, also a nice mod if possible ;)

I have done some tests this is what I have found

Allow multiple submit Off or On.

System does not regard the following same URL variations as duplications.

test.com
test.com/
www.test.com (http://www.test.com)
www.test.com/ (http://www.test.com/)

All 4 variations can be submitted to the same category whilst using different titles.

Suggestion: The system already prefixes the http:// it may help solve part of the problem if it also prefixed the www.

I guess the same could also be applied to postfixing the backslash /.

Yes, agreed as well, and that is exactly what they did, they added the URL but made one without the backslash and one with, so yes prefix is needed to keep this causing duplicate issues.
