Trying to understand notifications

I purchased 3.0.5 unbranded. Under the SYSTEM: EDIT SETTINGS: NOTIFICATIONS tab, what is the different between 'link' and 'reviewed link'? Also there is not place it appears to edit the notification to the link owner that there is no longer a reciprocal link. To your site.

Reviewed links are when a registered users of your directory is editing the link details to a (personal) link. Even if they are registered, users cannot edit a link without needing an editor or administrator to approve it.
