I have done a search, but not seen this mod for showing the Next and Prev link text to show the next or prev page of the same category.

Is there a code for 3.05?

Thanks

Thanks bobby, I understand you're busy as well. When you get a chance to do this code up and it takes to long or time needed to do it, I'll donate for you doing the work.

Thanks :)

hrmmm.. that can be tricky.

what if you are in a sub category, would you want to see the sub category within that same sub category, or are you wanting to show next MAIN category based on where you currently are.

Basically showing the same category, not the main. Say if you have 80+ links in that sub category and you wan to view the next 20 listings, you can click "next" to view them in the same sub-category that you're in.

So for example you're in - Business > Home Business and you're viewing the links that were submitted to this main/sub category and you want to view the next listings for this because the owner set it to 20 listings per page, well with the "Next" button you'll be able to view the same main/sub category next 20 listings.

hrmm... maybe i'm just not following, but that's how is currently works.
you click next and it paginates the next xxx listings.

what am i missing here?

It's ok rob :)

If anyone pulls this together that would be great :)

but before pulling anything together, one must know exactly what is wanted.

No problem.

When a viewer finds the category he or she likes to view, and the sub category shows 80+ links for that sub-category. In order for the viewer to view the rest of the sites listed in that sub-category, they need a Next button to do so. Vice versa if they wanted to view the recent page, and Previous button will be available to them to do so.

If their are alot of links in that sub-category and the viewer doesn't want to click Previous or Next to get to a further page, they can click the numbers between the Next and Previous buttons.

Correct Rob, that's the feature that would do a lot of use for those with a batch full of links in their directories sub-categories.

Thanks for posting that link!

wow, same here, LOL

P.S For those who don't know, it's in your System > Edit Settings > Directory and set the Paging: Maximum per page to say 8 or 10, depending on how many you want to view in that sub-category. So say if you have 20 links in that sub-category and you want to view only 10 per page in that sub-category then the next 10 will be displayed on the next page.

Here from Steve comment. On my site I've setup number of list per page like 10 per page. On my list there have 15 items ({broken link removed})
But my link with more items is invalid. How can I fixed this ?

Thank in advanced.
