Problem with letters: ą, ę, ś etc.

I have installed phpld 3.05.
When I turn on SEO links I have problem.
How and where I must changing code to doing this:
"ą" to exchange "a"
"ś" to exchange "s"
etc.
For example: http://www.katalog.e-rafael.pl/Młodość/ to exchange http://www.katalog.e-rafael.pl/Mlodosc/
