Very Newbie Installation

Hi all,

Im looking at using the software but I have never ever installed anything like this before :roll:

Would someone be as kind as to help me :?:

It's fairly simple really - all you need to do it upload all the files to your webspace via FTP.

You then need to create a new, empty database (probably MySQL) - you can usually do this with a couple of clicks through your hosting suppliers control panel.

Next, open a web browser and type in the address to where you uploaded the files, for example,

www.yourdomain.com/directory

... and the script should do the rest... if memory serves, it will ask you for your database name, username and password - all of which you probably specified when you created the directory!

Im just in the process of buying the hosting so once I have done that I'll give you a shout as I have never done FTP before either..... :?
