The average cost of phpld3 please?

I want to dive in and buy v 3 but see it is $75 = $10 for support am I right? I dont want people thinking I am 'another one of them php sites' :(

whats the average price on a good template not the tacky ones that all look the same with the top_bar.tpl and footer stuff. Whos the best dude to work with on templates here and how much does he or even she charge as I read they are problamatic when upgrading right?

Is it going to cost me tons of money to start up? please dont take me as being rude I just want to know the basics so I can budget.

thanks for answering. I know the cost of the script but doesn't it come without templates or skins of any quality even on default? I dont want one of them free ones as they all look like clones and google will be sure to see this sooner than later and they dont like dupes! I dont want to give a backlink as thats like a waste of time paying good money for nothing. I see lots of people here all charging for anything and everything from design to even small mySQL databases. This is why I asked what the average cost is going to be.

For a custom template you need to get in contact with a designer and he/she will make you probably an offer depending on your needs.

my directory here http://www.10000textlinks.com designed by vegabond. I think the best template designer here is aspidov and and vegabond, but aspidov price is out of my budget range.

thanks, how much did you pay for the template you have? how expensive are the others out of your range and can they be upgraded as I see this as an issue here.

croc, the average template goes based on the time put into it and how much it has in it. In other words, possibly $15 - $25.

I pay vegabond $60 only because I ask him to modify his Spring Break template to fit my needs. My directory template is a modified version of Spring Break (that come default with 3.05) and vegabond really doing a good job modifying it because its like a new template

For the logo, I pay $50 for a guy from visualkreations.com. This guy had make nice logo with affordable price.

@croc - if you really have a budget, pay $400 to aspidov and he will take care everything for you including a nice template and logo

If your on a budget why pay to remove the footer link? Get the ball rolling with traffic generation, then perhaps at a later date you can choose to pay to remove the phpld link. The minimum licensing fee would be $25, and I would suggest paying the extra $10 for support there's a wealth of great info on the forum.
