I know you guys are super busy but I figured I would throw this out there.
A lot of links in my directory will be local charities and non-profit organizations and I would like to sell (1) banner spot on each detail page which any customer can "Sponsor".
Features/Ideas:
(assuming link owner name is the same for all charity links)
A page that would pull from the database all links available for sponsorship. Maybe a drop down that also included the traffic count.
A spot on the same page for image upload/link, url and company name
Sponsor button that would take them to Paypal to complete purchase
Detail page would have a "Sponsor Me" button for listings that are not yet sponsored.
Once sponsored, the detail page would have a banner above the Google Map with text reading "This listing is sponsored by company name"
A way to still sponsor a charity link even if it has been claimed by the owner.
After re-reading this I realize it's a fairly big mod and you guys have a lot of pokers in the fire so to speak, but I had some extra time to ramble on!! :)
I think something like this could bring in a small but steady cash flow.
