Funny, I liked Millenium Edition.... I know other's didn't, but for me, XP was the one a avoided like the plague. I think I'm also one ofthe very few people that have no problems whatsoever with Vista!

I had minor issues with folder permissions with vista all fixed with 7 though 7 is by far my favorite next is 2000

I never trust Windows upgrades, I have always thought you get a more stable OS by doing a clean install rather than an upgrade. Maybe MS are thinking the same now since you can't upgrade from XP to Windows 7 without doing an upgrade to Vista first. I actually downgraded from Vista back to XP when i got my laptop a few years ago as it only came with 512mb it was too slow to run Vista (even though MS claim that you can)
