Why no widget for plain text / html ?

I am wondering why there isnt a widget to just input text or html - just like wordpress has?

Im trying to get adsense to work - the adsense widget doesnt work.

All you would need is a widget that makes a box - and lets you input any html or plain text - i dont see why their isnt one, it seems like the most basic and useful thing you would need, you can put anything inside the widgets then?

Or am i missing something, is their a reason this widget does not exist?

There is. You just need to search the forum for it. I also have a mod (paid) that allows any content, including scripts, php etc.

The very first thing to do is to add your forum username to your phpLD user account profile.


Then you will see many things.

This is exactly what I'm looking for. A widget to serve ads with any html I choose inside.

However I am unable to access the page listed below for the custom widget. I am logged in under my forum username with is also connected to my phpld user account.
