View Full Version : Screenshot processor says "...has stopped working"

My screenshot processor shows an error every time I go process any screenshots. I have tried running as administrator and get the same error. The software had been running fine 2 days ago. I have not changed anything since then.
The software loads okay. Also works fine when I click "Analyze Selected Table." But when I go to the bottom to "Process from ID XXXXX to XXXXX" I get a popup error box that says "screenshot processor has stopped working"
Can you please advise?

I am thinking that maybe the software file is corrupted. Can send me a link to reload the screenshot processor?

It should be available on your downloads area in your phpLD account.
Just out of interest, are you chaning the settings after starting to process thumbs? That can cause the issues you are getting. Make sure you set all the settings you need before starting to process.

Please send me the detailed error message and I'll check what the problem is.
Also try to skip some URLs from processing (using the Process from ID ... to ... option) and see if it works. It may be a single link that's having problems and we can see this if you skip it.
Did you make any major changes to your machine in the last period of time? Any changes that affected Internet Explorer, Flash or Java?

Thanks for your response. Downloads area says that nothing is available since I bought it 180 days ago. I am not changing any setting before or after starting the screenshot thumbs. Also, I have tried various combinations of skipping URLs, processing only one URL etc. All of them keep bringing up the same error that "Screenshot processor has stopped working" As for Flash, I just let my machine update Flash if it says that a new version is available. I have not done any update of Explorer or Java.
I have a screenshot of the error. Is there a way to send that to you?
That will help, please post the screenshot of the error on a website and send me the link to it.

Hello...I am still waiting for a reply. My website needs this screenshot software working. If nothing else, can you send me a link to the screenshot software so that I can reinstall it? It is not in my member's area as it has been over 180 days since I purchased it.
The message you are getting is a Windows message and that is shown for any program that is having a problem on your computer. You could try looking at the history in the Action Center (the little flag at the bottom of your screen) to see if it gives more information on what the problem is or alternatively the Windows Events Log (click the start button on the bottom of your screen and put event log in search).
If you get any more information, please provide it here because that error doesn't tell much.
It's also worth trying to download the application again and see if you get the error.

Ok...James...I am going to Home>>My Downloads. This is what is says there - "It has been more than 180 days since your last purchase. You no longer have access to the Downloads Area and to our Supporter's Forum. In order to regain these rights please click below to get a renewal. It will cost you $20" - Do I have to pay $20 to get access?

James...can you please respond. I need this fixed because it is costing me paid submissions. Would paying for this service in the ticket section make this process faster?
