View Full Version : Feature Request

Would like to request a few items for future releases of the Screenshot Processor.

1) Option to delete locally stored thumbs after automatic FTP upload.

2) There does seem to be a memory leak somewhere. The longer you run the processor, the more the computer memory gets locked out, which can only be cleared with a reboot. Additionally, closing the processor doesn't always close the IECAPT process.

3) A filter criteria, perhaps in the form of a user customisable section in the Table selection, to be able to manually specify a field name and a value. That way, you should be able to filter to create thumbs only for featured links for example.

Thanks.

Bruce.

Content visible to registered users only.

Which is why I am asking for option #3 in my initial post.

Currently Vista (I know, but I'm one of the few people that has never had an issue with it), but it does happen on XP and Windows 7 also.

On the memory leak point Win 7 64 bit it has happened to me before the last update, thas is the last time I ran it for a long time.

I would like the same features as Bruce has asked for.
+1 from me

I concur to the requests and while on the subject. I mentioned in another post about the ability to add remote file storage like amazon's file storage services etc...

Not sure how it would effect the load times but at least with limited hosting plans file number or size might be a none issue then. Some or most "unlimited" (and I use the term lightly) hosting plans state a disk space usage but when you get to a file count of 20-50 thousand files you can be throttled or warned to remove files plus loose the ability to make backup's from cPanel.

Cheers!

I was thinking about that when I replied. I can see uploading then adjusting the image url.

Cheers!
