Great idea. I would love to see this feature, however untill we get it you can always use phpMyAdmin to export the table data.

I've thought about this as well. Just wondering how many people on their host have access to "system()"?

make developers lifes easier.... go to phpadmin panel or CPanel. they have more imporant staff to take care of.

I'm aware it can be done there, Ilushkin. I'm also aware that regular backups get done more frequently if they're made easy to do without leaving the common admin panel. That's why the feature is added in phpBB forums.
