Have set up a new directory installation on http://unleashed.voisd.com

The index page, submit page, latest links page all load perfectly.

All i get when i click on a category is an error page? whats gone wrong? are there some file permissions that need changing?

This seems to be a htaccess problem because not rewrited cat are working : http://unleashed.voisd.com/index.php?c=1

Sorry your talking to a total novice when it comes to programming and the like... what do i need to do to resolve the issue?

Would it also not mean that my directory on the root domain would experience the same problem... which it isnt experiencing...

no problem, you must have a .htaccess file in the folder of your directory with something like :
Content visible to registered users only.
Do you have this file ?

Ahhh the file is in the original root www folder for the root domain directory, but not in the sub folder which contains the subdomain directory files. Ive simply created a copy and put it in the unleashed folder... seems to work now! Cheers!
