Anyone know how to change the rewritten category url's from:
{url not currently in service}
to
{url not currently in service}
??
I think that will work better with Google since the page will appear as being one level higher.

And what about subcategories?

I will only be using one level of categories...
[edit] But if there were sub categories it should be {url not currently in service}

I posed this question over on the Mod Rewrite forums:
{url not currently in service}
Hopefully, there will be a helpful response.
Thanks,

I hired a programmer over at scriptlance to do this for me.
With this mod you can choose from the real url, the original rewrite and the new .html rewrite. All through admin.
I am testing it right now and expect to post it tomorrow morning in the mod forum.

Content visible to registered users only.
It would be WONDERFUL if you can post this mod when finished. :D

The way I did this was work it into the script, but I didn't think that would be a good solution but rather wanted to work on a rewrite rule instead so it would be easy for people to download the mod.
Thanks for doing this though, I look forward to seeing if they went about it the same as I did.

That URL won't work because it's from the older forum software.

Does google really have a problem with blah.com/blah/blah ?
All of my pages in those seem to get indexed.
