Install Problem!

Hi,

I go to my install/index.php and get the following error, can anyone help?

Warning: Smarty error: validate: validator id 'v_step' is not registered.
directory/libs/smarty/Smarty.class.php on line 1088

not sure how to get round this!??

I just got the same error.. Were you able to determine what caused this??

Well it seems in his case he wasn't able to upload the files properly, or that it would infact not allow him to place them in the root folder of which he wanted.

I wasn't able to find the solution because I cannot reproduce the problem.

Thanks for the information.. This actually helps.. I had a crash while uploading the files and thought I had fixed them all.. I'll re-upload everything and see if that fixes the problem..
