adsense showing totally irrelevant results

please have a look at

go through any categories to the end, and only result i see is an ad from

gocables.com

how could i show a more relavent Ads ? ( i am new to adsense by the way)

Hi mature_student,

I would guess it's because there are no contents below and on the sides of the ad? I am just guessing here. Try adding a few links and browse to the categories with the links.

Also, try refreshing the page when the results are always the same.

Yes, AdSense (using the Google MediaPartners spider) determines which ads to display on your site by the content of each page on which the ads are displayed. Most of the time, AdSense is uncannily accurate in doing this -- occasionally you will see an ad that seems a bit off but that's rare in my experience. Try adding more content (link descriptions, titles, or anchor text) to the page.
