Absolute Category Counter

I need to know how to modify the directory so that when I have a category the counter always displays all links in the category. It displays all links for that category when
1. links are in the category
2. if there are subcategories in the category
3. if there are links and subcategories in the category
4. if the subcategories have subcategories
5. if the subcategories have categories and there are links in some or all subcategories

Welcome, we are working on this one, and should have a fix shortly. You are actually the 3rd person to ask about this. :)

One more thing....
this should not be a problem on version 2.0 which is planned to be released any day now, and for which there will be an easy update script you can run.

Regardless, we will try to continue to support the 1.xx version and fix bugs such as this even after 2.0 is released.

Now how do I upgrade and maintain my settings once this version comes out...???

It should be as easy as running an upgrade script that we will provide for you. It is in our interest to make it easy for you to upgrade, and we will make every effort to make it very simple.
