Recip with another link

Hi,

since some days I have been changing the site on the submit.tpl so that when they choose reciprocal they link to another site and not to the directory.

I then noticed that I didn't get any more reciprocals and was wondering, tested myself and then I saw that there is a bug on it.

Here is the original code:

And it seems to be this part "{$smarty.const.SITE_URL}" that I cannot change.

I tried to look at the submit.php file in the root but I didn't understand nada from that file.

I would like to change so they link back to www.jw-webbdesign.se instead, how do I do that?

This made me think of another neat feature you could possibly add to the script:
Option to edit rec link of admin's choice, sitewide or just in a designated directory

And then got another bigtime idea: 8)

Why don't have a directory, where sites
1. - has to link to the directory
2. - has to link to one other link in the dirctory, or
3. - has to link to alla sites in the same directory
4. - has to put a custom dynamic generated HTML-page somewhere on there server with links in directory, kind of like the new free "MakeMeGoogle" services popping up from around the net.

I realized that the bug you had on submitting to me was because of what I wrote in this thread. When I changed back, then no problem anymore.

When I look at your suggestions it is hard to implement, except the first one of course. Second one, is hard as to which one to choose? Number three is kind of, who wants to put 50 links on their site? And number 4 is a bit risky for Google ban. Google has earlier banned directories and I think the risk is if it is too much reciprocal linking, like thousands.

PS. Grymt script, använder du det på någon svensk webbplats i dagsläget?

Nej men jag tänkte på det innan jag la mig igår. Det finns knappt någon annan svensk katalog med bra seo vänliga länkar förutom SUNET som är ett guldkorn.

Man kan ju faktiskt ganska lätt starta ett. Och jag har tillräckligt med sidor för att göra den PR 4-5.

Vad säger du om ett samarbete? Endast svenska kvalitetssidor och vi har våra egna länkar i footern eller något? Kvalitetskatalog.se är ledig.

Ja det kanske kan vara intressant. Jag jobbar just nu med en ny länkkatalog som använder scriptet, och där jag kommer att vara selektiv med nya registreringar. Jag beräknar att kunna uppnå PageRank 5 på den inom ett halvår. Har lyckats göra det med 4 domäner tidigare, utan att ens använda ett sådant här script.
