Suggest URL page is really slow

I know that this is probably on my side of the fence, but I would like to know if there is a way to make the page load quicker when someone is going to submit a link. i am building a rather large database of Realtors for the whole united states and when someone tries to click on the suggest url, it comes up but it take it a long time.

Any ideas? I have tried the two mods and I cant get them to work from another section that has HOW TO: on it.

There are a couple of alternative methods for loading the categories.
There is an ajax category selector and also a method where you have to surf to the category in order to submit.

What is happening is the category list being loaded, and you probably have a ton of categories. I think there may be a mod for v2, but I'm not positive on that.

can anyone point me in those directions...I would not even mind paying for it if that would help speed up the submit process.

David, is the new version the one with ajax or is that a mod? I just want to get this rolling as soon as possible

Ok...So I got the script for the AJAX catagory handler installed and it works AWESOME!

So here is my question now? Is there a way to make the application load so that i can speed up the site appoval process as it does the same thing, it has to build the whole directory list and it bogs down the server.
