Does anyene have a category dump that I could import into my mysql database so I do not have to creat all of the directories over again when I install phplinkdirectory? I need a good solid amount of categories and I am sure there is someone out there that has a file like this.
Thanks
Evan

Can someone explain this in a way a person who doesn't know anything would understand?

basicly when you go to the link VV posted it brings you a SQL dump script...what the script is, is a barebones directory structure, in SQL code.
go to phpMyAdmin or what ever your db host tool is and run that text file (copy and paste it in the box and execute)
then. all your directorys are created for you, all you need are submissions to put in now :)

Read the post two up from this from TimAllard. And to be honest with you, it's best to get your own categories and enter them manually, this will set your structure apart from the other million directories using the same category structure.

Not sure if you should be running a directory if you dont have a basic understanding of sql. You should know how to do a dump and import. Check google on how to do those items in mysql.
