Problem

Hi all,

I have a poblem.....I have attempted to run a site map using more than one application.....
It runs on forever, says I have thousands of links when I don't!

It seems to be duplicating for some reason....

Sharr, you can snag that program I linked to:

Make sure you set up the following filters when you run the wizard to add a site:

root+'
?id='+this.id;
?s=A
?s=H

Then let it spider the site for you. The list should come up pretty clean, though you might wanna eyeball it after the first time you run it and before you upload, which you can do manually or set up to do through the program. Do it manually the first time.

It's now in googly form so you can upload it and submit it to them.

I did what you said but it has made no difference.....22778....crawling so I had to abort :roll:

Then your filters might need to be different than mine. Look at the linklist from within the program. You're a smart cookie, you should be able to see what it's doing and why the repeats are occurring, and develop your filters accordingly. With mine it was that root+' thing. Maybe because of a different server config it shows something else in yours.

I'm sorry this didn't help, Sharr. I hope they fix this soon.
