Couldn't Load Sub-Categories

I have installed the phpLD2 into my server that supports PHP and MySQL.
However, after the admin submission and clicking on the sub-category in the
homepage, "page not found" error appears. Please advice. Thanks in advance.

P.S. From the administrator: Sounds like a .htaccess or mod rewrite issue.

Yes it seems like a problem with URL rewriting. Please ask your hoster if mod_rewrite is enabled for your domain. A temporary fix is to turn URL rewrite off for your directory from admin panel.

Thanks for your prompt reply and my hoster says that rewrite mod is on. However, it is still not working. Could you tell me how I could enable that feature in my sub account under him? Thanks in advance.
