Everything is a GREEN CHECK when I try to install except for "Server API" it says CGI mode is likely to have problems. what does this mean?

When I installed it, I couldn't get to the admin control panel because it said this:

Content visible to registered users only.
I accept cookies so thats not the problem.

I suspect it has something to do with the whole CGI error when I was installing it, can someone tell me what I should to do fix this problem?

Thanks.

when I try to go to the admin login it takes 6 seconds to load then it goes to a firefox error page, maybe something with htaccess? when i click submit link it takes people to http://www.url.com/cgi-system/submit.php but my directory is http://www.url.com/directory/submit.php

Content visible to registered users only.

I had this error upon install, never posed a problem.

I don't think phpLD uses CGI anyway.

If you are running v3, we have full documentation on how to make it work in the Supporters Forum. I can't speak for v2, but likely it will take some troubleshooting by an expert.
