DMOZ import mod

Hi Guys

Does phpLD 3.0 now include a working DMOZ import mod or do we still have to use and fix one of the old phpLD2 mods ?

I would say currently there is not one that works perfectly.
If you are able to find a source for dmoz that is already in mysql format, I could easily help you import from there.

does successfully import the dmoz category (and its subcategories) you specify into mysql. (the crawl.php works fine.)

But the included covert.php (convert) which is intended to take the information from categories, dmoz, and links tables and put them into the correct phpLD tables does not work with 3.x. It would sure be great if you or someone else could create or tweak the convert script to take the successfully crawled dmoz myql data and move it from one mysql table to the correct phpLD table.

(I thought I would be smart and based on the post date try to find the previous phpLD version which worked with that mod as-is, and then upgrade from there, but it was a no go with the current free 2.0 version, with 3.0, and with 3.01 so I have no idea which version that worked with nor can I figure out how to get it to work with 3.06, so we need someone who is better with MySQL than I :()
