question about recip links and "ID"

A number of directory owners use the ID feature which I don't use.

If I'm putting up a link (in my admin panel) and the code is using one of those ID=xxxxxx how do I add that to the URL?

And when I add it without the ID at all, why will the submission not validate the reciprocal link?

Perhaps I have labelled this question wrong.

I was just submitting to ANOTHER directory, one that didn't enable the "ID" and it won't validate the URL either.

I see that you moved the thread ... no problem there ... but I'm not using v2. I'm using v3.

Is the problem on my site or theirs? Both are PHPLD.

I think that the response that I got a couple days ago was that everyone needs to stop using the id as it is causing alot of problems. I do understand your pain as several are still using it and I cannot get them to accept mine either.
