admin log in error

Hi Guys

I have just installed the latest version.

The end of the install screen gives me a link to the admin area

When I try and access this the script hangs for several minutes then eventually outputs the following.

Fatal error: Class adorecordset: Cannot inherit from undefined class adodb_base_rs in /home/betting-forum/htdocs/www.soccer-systems.com/links/libs/adodb/adodb.inc.php on line 2425

Any ideas?

Until the programmers get this sorted out, have you tried just just inputting into the browser addy bar www.soccer-systems.com/"yourlinksdir"/admin/?

I got a slightly different error on a couple of installs, wasn't looking for the admin in the right path for some reason, and just bypassed the whole thing by accessing it directly.

Thanks for the suggestion Vkaryl but yes that was one of the first things I tried.

I noted for some reason that that subdirectory ie /admin does not automatically default to the index.php page.

Possibly a cause of everything..possibly not.
Have my hosts fixing that. Will see what happens once done.
The orig error however seemed to suggest the error was elsewhere.

I now note several another threads commenting on missing files on 5.2.
Is there somewhere I can download the libs subdirectory ie a download known to be 100% complete?

EDIT Nb index page defaulting now in place. still no joy.
